Champagne dreams
and caviar wishes are just day-to-day life for Tara Sytsma,
heiress to the formidable lobster bib fortune left to
her by her great-uncle. Need a weekend trip to Geneva
or Cannes? Ask Tara if you can hitch a ride on her private
jet (known as TaraAir). This generous and altruistic young
lady will almost certainly make room. When she's not bulldozing
her way down Rodeo Drive or attending Elizabeth Taylor's
garage sales, Tara can be found happily sewing scraps
together with her golden needle and reaffirming her title
as the Queen of Quilting. She's currently at work on a
blanket that will cover Lake Michigan and prevent it from
freezing this winter. "I can't bear the thought of
all those poor fish floating around in ice cubes for months,"
she says.
